Updating Store Details

Keep the store profile, location, commercial terms, delivery configuration, and customer-facing service information accurate from the SigmaCart administration panel.

Open Store Management

Sign in to the Admin Panel, open the Stores section, locate the required store, and choose its edit or manage action.

The available edit sections depend on the SigmaCart version, enabled modules, global settings, and the current administrator’s permissions.

Update a store step by step

Locate the store. Search by store name, owner, operational area, or joined date.
Open the store editor. Use the available edit or management action for the correct store.
Review the profile. Confirm the store name, description, image, rating, contact details, and customer-facing information.
Verify the location. Check the address, pincode, landmark, latitude, longitude, zone, and operational areas.
Review service settings. Update the approximate delivery time, price range, delivery type, radius, and ordering rules.
Check fees and commission. Confirm packing charges, delivery pricing, minimum order value, and commission percentage.
Review visibility and availability. Update featured, dietary, approval, or enabled status only when appropriate.
Save the changes. Submit the form and confirm that SigmaCart reports a successful update.
Verify the storefront. Open the public store page and test the revised information and delivery eligibility.

Store profile fields

Field	Configuration guidance
Store Name	Use the official customer-facing business name. Keep spelling and capitalization consistent.
Description	Write a short summary of the store, its products, and its customer value.
Image or Logo	Upload an optimized JPG, PNG, or supported image. The referenced Laravel resource recommends 160 × 117 px for the store image.
Default Rating	Use a valid value from 1 to 5 only when your store policy allows an administrative default.
Contact Information	Keep the store owner or business phone and email current wherever these fields are provided.
Certificate / License Code	Record the applicable registration, certificate, or operating-license reference.
Pure Veg	Enable only when the complete store meets the applicable pure-vegetarian classification.
Featured	Enable selectively when the store should receive supported featured placement.

Store location and service area

Field	Purpose
Full Address	The complete physical store address used for operations and customer information.
Pincode / Postcode	The postal code associated with the store location.
Landmark	A recognizable nearby location that helps identify the store.
Latitude and Longitude	Exact map coordinates used for distance, serviceability, zones, and delivery calculations.
Zone	Associates the store with a configured operating or delivery zone.
Operational Areas	Controls or describes the areas served by the store where supported.
Delivery Radius	Limits delivery service by distance in kilometres. The referenced resource uses 10 km when the field is left blank.

Coordinates must be valid

Incorrect latitude or longitude can break map display, distance calculations, serviceability, or delivery assignment. Use the map picker when Google Maps is configured, or obtain accurate coordinates from a trusted map service.

Google Maps configuration

When a suitable Google Maps API key is configured, the store form can provide a map search and location picker. Otherwise, latitude and longitude must be entered manually.

Search for the store location. Use the business name, address, city, or town.
Position the map marker accurately. Confirm it represents the real pickup or dispatch location.
Review latitude and longitude. Do not use placeholder coordinates for a live store.
Save and test serviceability. Verify delivery radius, zone matching, and storefront map behavior.

API-key restrictions

The administration map picker may require the Google Maps key configuration expected by your SigmaCart installation. Follow the application’s Map Settings guidance and secure production keys according to Google’s recommended restrictions.

Operating and order settings

Opening Hours	Set accurate business and ordering hours in the store schedule section available in your version.
Approx. Delivery Time	Enter a realistic estimate in minutes based on preparation and delivery conditions.
Approx. Price for Two	Provide a representative average price in the configured store currency.
Store Charge	Add a packing or extra charge only when disclosed and permitted by your business rules.
Delivery Type	Choose Delivery, Self Pickup, or Both when the self-pickup module is enabled.
Minimum Order Price	Set the minimum cart value before discount and tax. Use 0 when no minimum is required.
Commission Rate	Enter the agreed platform commission percentage from 0 to 100.
Store Status	Enable the store only when it is approved and ready to receive customer orders.

Configure delivery charges

SigmaCart supports fixed and dynamic delivery-charge models in the referenced Laravel 12 store resource.

Base charge: ₹40 for the first 5 km
Extra charge: ₹10 for every additional 2 km

Delivery distance: 9 km

Test boundary distances

Verify charges below, at, and above the base distance. Confirm rounding and additional-distance behavior in your installed version before publishing the rates.

Troubleshooting

Store cannot be found	Reset saved filters, search by name or owner, review pending approval, and confirm the current user has store-management permission.
Changes do not appear	Confirm the form saved successfully, then clear relevant application or frontend caches and reload the store page.
Image upload fails	Check file type, dimensions, file size, PHP upload limits, storage permissions, and image-processing support.
Map is blank or incorrect	Verify the Google Maps key, enabled APIs, billing, expected restrictions, coordinates, and browser console errors.
Store is outside the delivery area	Check coordinates, zone assignment, operational areas, delivery radius, and the customer’s location.
Delivery fee is incorrect	Review fixed versus dynamic mode, all distance and charge values, units, currency, rounding, and cached settings.
Store is not visible	Confirm approval and enabled status, owner and zone associations, opening/service settings, and storefront cache.

Store details updated

Once the profile, location, operating hours, fees, serviceability, availability, and storefront ordering flow are verified, the updated store is ready for customers.
